This has a very in-debth emotional impact for the reader as they are thrust into the character's feelings.
This story demonstrates the deep, unyielding love between two character and is an excellent tale.
Though sad, it has a satisfying ending to say the the least, I enjoy reading a story that takes you inside the characters fully and without boundaries.
Not telling how the dream ended was definately the best way to tell it. It is often better to leave such things to the reader's imagination. This gives them more freedom in deciding what they saw. And helps keep it from being to soft or two harsh.
Again an excellent job protraying these two.
