Bumblebee Wars 4

Sam panted loudly, he had triumphed! Well, his victory was probably due to the Decepticon attack that had forced Bumblebee to escort Sam
home.
He had forced his massive friend to agree to stay with him.
Bumblebee looked down at his charge with a friendly gaze, Sam plopped down for a moment on a box and rubbbed his face, "These 'Cons are going
to get me some day."
His feet cleared a garden gnome when a loud bang sounded outside. Bumblebee sent him a concerned look and his radio clicked on,
"No more talk of darkness,
Forget these wide-eyed fears;
I'm here, nothing can harm you,
My words will warm and calm you."
Sam snorted and said, "Bee, we're trapped in my parents garage until Optimus shows up, I have every right to panic."
The Scout frowned and continued to play the song,
"Let me be your freedom,
Let daylight dry your tears;
I'm here, with you, beside you,
To guard you and guide you."
Bee scooted closer to Sam before skipping a verse of the song,
"Let me be your shelter,
Let me be your light;
You're safe, no one will find you,
You're fears are far behind you."
Bumblebee seemed to sense something was amiss with his charge and seemed to ask him what was wrong. Sam looked out at the war zone for
a moment before everything came rolling out in great angry waves.
"You spend all your time with Firestar now! She's taking up every last smiggen of your time! And where does that leave me? Without a best friend, or
a car, or a guardian!"
Bumblebee reeled back and started to answer before Sam continued, "And you know what else? Mikaela left! Yeah, she's gone off to Michigan or
somewhere! My parents are crazy and even Optimus supports your relationship. Oh yeah he gave me the entire pep talk! Didn't you know that?
Well maybe you would if you'd be around sometimes!"
Bumblebee started to speak before the roof exploded off the place. "Come here boy!"
Starscream, snarled trying to snatch Sam from Bumblebee's leg. Bee shrieked in rage and tackled the plane, Soundwave came up from behind and
wrapped his tentacles around the scout's body.
"RUN BOY!!!" Bee shrieked.
Sam obeyed and hid underneath the remains of the roof, he wriggled his badly bruised body out enough to see what was happening.
Bumblebee was on his knees in front of Soundwave and Starscream, Starscream smacked Bee and spat, "Where is the boy?"
When Bumblebee didn't respond electricity crackled up Soundwaves tentacles, shocking the Scout.
This went on for about three minutes before Bee flopped to the ground and stared over at Sam's hiding spot, his radio switched on while Soundwave
and Starscream tromped over.
"Think of me, think of me fondly
When we've said goodbye
Remember me, once in a while
Please promise me you'll try
Then you'll find that once again you long
To take your heart back and be free,
If you'll ever find a moment...
Spare a thoght for me."
Soundwave listened carefullt to Bee's speech in the effort to decode Sam's hiding spot, so he allowed him to continued a little longer.
"Think of all the things
We've shared and seen
Don't think about the way
Things might have been."
Starscream yanked him  upright and only to slam him back down, Soundwave, chuckling sadistically placed his gun against Bee's back.
Bee looked over at Sam again,
"Recall those days, look back on all those times
Think of those things we'll never do,
There will never be a day
When I won't think of you."
Sam started to run forward, anything to try and protect his guardian, his guide, his friend.
Soundwave's gun seemed to shoot in slow motion, Sam froze as Bee's body shuddered and went still. A long stream of flame blasted from Sam's left, searing the two 'Cons
Firestar had arrived, and unlike Bee, she wasn't hindered with a human to protect. The two ran away like cowards and Firestar knelt down beside
the yellow scout. "BEE!! NO!!"
She lifted his body to her and sobbed, Sam ran forward and joined her lament over the bot they had both relied on.
Ratchet ran forward and escorted the two and Bee to the  med-bay.
